MAPTA (Philadelphia) (Metropolitan Area Platform Tennis Association) is committed to Junior Platform Tennis. On many Sunday afternoons during the season, MAPTA sponsors a clinic or a round robin day at various clubs in the region. To make it convenient, 2 sites are selected on each event day to reduce travel time. Pros can donate their time or are paid $50.00 for this 1.5 hour session.
This past season, almost half of "The Pros" donated their time.
MAPTA sponsors an annual “Evening with the Stars” Event for the Juniors as an opportunity to play with and against national caliber local players. MAPTA also sponsors an annual Adult/ Child Event.

Peter is recently married and has moved back to the Philly area and will be teaching paddle with his mom at Radley Run!!! Peter will be a part of the APTA's Junior Committee and will be heading up Philly Jr events this season!!!!
