Format for Play
- The 19 Teams have been divided up into 2 groups for round robin play.
- Each round robin match will be 7 games using NO-AD scoring. The team returning serve chooses which player gets to return when the score reaches deuce or 3-3 in any game.
- Win/loss record determines order of finish.
- If 2 teams are tied, their head to head result will determine the winner.
- If 3 teams are tied, the team with LEAST number of games LOST will advance.
- Quarterfinals will be played at SHORT HILLS CLUB immediately following round robin.
- The top 4 finishers in each pool will advance to the Quarterfinals. #1A v #4B, #2A v #3B, #1B v #4A, #2B v #3A
- If before 12pm Quarter Finals will be 2 out 3 sets with NO-AD scoring. A 10 point tie breaker will be played in lieu of a 3rd set.
- OR if start time is after 12pm then An 8 game proset with NO-AD Returning team gets to pick where the server goes at deuce.
- Semi Finals will be played at Canoe Brook Country Club after lunch.
- Semi finals will be 2 of 3 , regular scoring with a 10 point Tie Breaker in lieu of third set.
- Finals. 2 out of 3 sets with regular scoring. Finals will take place at 4pm at Canoe Brook Country Club.
