Q: Does my son or daughter have to sign up with a partner?

A: Yes

Q: Do they have to be APTA Members?

A: Yes, go to www.platformtennis.org to pay $15.00 dollar Jr membership Fee.

Q: What is the cutoff date for age group eligibility?

A: Whatever age your son or daughter is as of Oct.1st, 2023 is the age group they should sign up for. For example:  If your child turned 13 in November of 2023, he or she would be eligible to play in the 12 and under age group.

Q: How do we know where our kids will play?

A: Start times and sites for play will be sent to all players by Wednesday at 5 pm.

Q: What is the format for play?

A: All teams will be asked to report to their site of play by 8:45 for Round Robin play. A team's order of finish in the round-robin will determine which teams will advance to afternoon play.

Q: Is there lunch included?

A:   The tournament does not provide lunch.  All players will get info on places to eat nearby at all sites. All parents will be reminded to bring whatever snacks their son or daughter may need.  Snacks and water will be provided but we encourage all parents to be sure to bring a sandwich possibly in case morning play lasts into your son or daughter's preferred lunch time.

Q: What happens in the afternoon?

A: Teams who have qualified will be playing their next rounds. All teams are invited to Canoe Brook to catch all the finals and to enjoy the Family Tailgate Party. Thanks to the APTA and our generous sponsors, lots of the afternoon play will be live-streamed on YouTube on the APTA Channel.
