100 kids came out to compete in the Philadelphia Junior Open last Sunday in a multi-sited tournament hosted by Aronimink, Waynesborough, Overbrook, and Radley Run.  The Philadelphia area had an incredibly strong showing bringing 90 of our 100 kids and of the 90 area kids, 40 came from Radley Run.  Wow!  We love to see the game growing in new clubs as well as seeing the next generation compete at an incredibly high level.  Thank you to our countless volunteers who helped make the tournament a great success.  We had two hut commanders in each location, pizza, wings, sandwiches, and of course, our amazing Tastycakes.  A big thank you to Tastycake for providing incredible snacks for the kids before, during, yes that happens, and after the matches.  Below are some photos that capture the day.  We’ll look forward to seeing everyone back for the Paddle Battle which will be held on January 24th at Radley Run and Kennett.
